Announcing Afroterminal.com - I Love Africa Video Competition

In partnership with OH TV - a UK-based TV channel that broadcasts across Europe, Africa and the US - Afroterminal, is launching the 'I Love Africa' video competition (to showcase Africa in positive light), starting on the 19th November 2012. The winner of the competition will take home a $3000 cash prize, plus the OH Box (a portable digital TV modem) from OH TV.
Afroterminal is a social network where Africans at home and abroad meet
and make friends.

To win, simply make a video (no longer than 15 minutes) telling everyone why you love Africa. You can make the video on a webcam, on your phone, with your camera or camcorder, professionally in a studio etc....and it could be a song, a dance, a short drama, a documentary, a speech, comedy etc...and you could be alone or with others (friends, family, colleagues, strangers etc)...it's totally up to you! The key thing is be creative!!! 

The 3 videos with the most 'Likes' after 3 months will be shortlisted, and the winner will be selected by a celebrity panel. 

To enter the competition and win, here are the three steps you must follow: 


1. Make a video titled 'I Love Africa' and upload your video to Youtube. In the following fields on Youtube, type in the following: 

Description: Afroterminal $3000 video competition 
Tag: Afroterminal.com 

2. Copy the URl/ link of your youtube video and go to http://www.afroterminal.com/video/share to submit it. 

3. Share your Afroterminal video with all your friends/ well-wishers and get 300 people (minimum) to 'Like' your video on Afroterminal.
