Posted on 02:12 by Unknown

SanDisk Ultra Plus Review
Silicon Valley-based S&P 500 and Fortune 500 company, SanDisk Corporation (NASDAQ: SNDK), has signed a distribution deal with Mitsumi, one of the largest and fastest growing IT distributors in Africa.
Mitsumi distributes to over 19 countries in Africa including Kenya, Tanzania, Ghana, Tunisia, Morocco, Zambia and Namibia.
"The relationship with Mitsumi will strengthen our position in the African storage market," said Sreedhar Sreekumar, SanDisk's regional sales manager, Middle East & Africa. "Africa is a growing market and represents great potential for SanDisk. We are excited to work with Mitsumi and to see SanDisk grow throughout the continent. Our relationship with Mitsumi reinforces our objective to expand our product reach in Africa."
The agreement follows the rise of smartphones in Africa, which has increased by 43 percent every year since 2000.

"Mitsumi is delighted to be associated with a pioneering technology company like SanDisk, which has impacted people's digital lives," said Mitesh Shah, managing director at Mitsumi Distribution. "Mitsumi, with its pan-Africa presence and width of distribution, is excited to work with a dynamic brand like SanDisk, and grow the SanDisk flash memory storage business to its full potential in the captive and emerging markets of Africa."
Since 1988, SanDisk, a global leader in flash memory storage solutions, have provided customers with new and transformational digital experiences. SanDisk's diverse product portfolio includes flash memory cards and embedded solutions used in smart phones, tablets, digital cameras, camcorders, digital media players and other consumer electronic devices, as well as USB flash drives and solid-state drives (SSD) for the computing market.
